He wasn't as bad as some of that later hypers, that's for sure. But I think the charge of hyper Calvinistic tendancies does stick. I haven't read the books you mentioned edited by Haykin. But I've seen his <I>Kiffin, Knollys & Keach</I>. It was a real eye-opener and a great read.
