Sometimes when we appeal for Spirit-empowered preaching what results is either fairly histrionic, or forced passion. <BR/><BR/>I don't know what it's like in Wales or Wiltshire, but here in Ulster there is a traditional form of preaching which is perceived as being earnest and 'in the Spirit', when in actual fact it is a copied style with little of the preacher's true weakness shown. A failure to conform to this pattern can lead folks to believe that you're not 'really preaching'.
