John Newton would encourage Cowper to get involved in the life of the community and the church to help him overcome his introspective tendencies. A lot like I am for living in the world of 21st century dentistry and the like.<br />Before meds, I was going down the Cowper/Newton Trail, of chronic clinical depression (for reasons not totally dissimilar to theirs).
