Carmichael may well have spotted what many miss who read only the scholar-historian-theologian.<br /><br />Elizabeth Elliot's <a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Chance-Die-Elisabeth-Elliot/dp/0800730895/" rel="nofollow"><i>A Chance to Die</i></a> is also a wonderful biography of Amy Carmichael.
