Tuesday PM

Girl plays
carefree in the cold.
Smiles
behind the ragged hedge.
Boy plays
cars race, crash.
The mind
empties of the day's learning.
Woman sits
in the warmed over
cold room.
Waits for a haircut.
Man alone
broods, thinks.
Walls crack with
the tome's weight.
