We hope to attend the Evangelical Movement of Wales' Aber Conference in August. The event is always an excellent time of ministry and fellowship, attended by over 1000 people. See here for details of the conference. I know that a couple of blogging friends will be there. Perhaps we bloggers could meet up for a coffee and chat. If this seems like a good idea, leave a comment or drop me an e-mail.

I'll be there
Great. Drop me an e-mail via my profile & we can arrange something.
Can't get there - but with Ted Donnelly as main speaker I KNOW you will have a profitable time!
Hi DP,
I've heard Ted Donnelly preach a number of times. I'm very much looking forward to his ministry at Aber.
Can't be there. So wish we could.
But what you could do with is a wifi hotspot at Aber.
Then you could liveblog !
FON says there's a hotspot at 1 Stanley Road. Perhaps McDonalds or the National Milk Bar ?
Sorry Alan, but I haven't got a laptop PC. As for "live" blogging, even if I did have the technology, I believe that laptop use should be banned from the Great Hall meetings. Who wants to hear some sad geek rattling away at a keyboard when you are trying to listen to the preaching of the word of God? I have developed a new, revolutionary, soon to be patented noise-free method of taking notes - pen and paper. Besides, I don't think my family would forgive me if I continued blogging while on holiday, not for all the ice cream in Aber.
Guy - We plan to be there (for most of it) - but you might not see this until you get back. Ah well.
Oh yes - I wouldn't suggest that you take a laptop into the meetings !
Perish the thought !
Unless, of course, you sat on the back row of the Banner conference like someone else who shall remain nameless...
