An interview with Professor Stuart Burgess: 'Science & Faith: Harmony or Conflict'

Earlier this evening I interviewed Stuart Burgess, professor of Engineering Design at Bristol University. Among other things we discussed whether the Christian faith is compatible with science and whether it is possible for human beings to have personal knowledge of their Creator. I enjoyed our consersation. Hopefully you will too.

Thankyou for this coversation. Hearing a scientist dealing with evolution/creation in a clear, straightforward way is very helpful. That there is limitation of the number of component parts for anything to function is new to me, but i suppose obvious. He covered many objections and difficult points. I learnt a lot.
I wonder if it would be possible to have a conversation about why the Christian God, and not any of the other gods and religions of the world. To hear a professor of religeous studies perhaps, deal with that would be most helpful. "Our Allah, Jehovah (JS's) etc is the same as your God. No - he isn't. But learning an intelligent way of dealing with that would help. Sorry for using so many words!
